Not quite. 2023 GP2 890RR uses a different ECU and its electronics are a tad bit more refined than the 2023 RC which is basically street KTM electronics (garbage). 2023 GP2 uses a different ECU altogether and makes 3 more hp for what its worth. Having said that, you are splitting hairs and any Kramer or RC is an awesome race machine and 50x better than any equivalent garbage street bike that has been converted for track duty.
i'd be interested to know what you think is garbage about it. i didn't realize they swapped ECU's for the GP2rr.. 2022 ktm is a Bosch unit https://www.ktm.com/en-nz/models/supersport/ktm-rc-8c-2022.html 2023 Kramer is a Bosch unit https://www.kramermotorcyclesusa.com/2023-gp2-890r 2023 ktm is Bosch, but they added a bunch of traction control and wheelie control (what's the fun in that??) https://www.ktm.com/en-us/models/supersport/ktm-rc-8c-2023.html 2024 kramer is Mectronik https://www.kramermotorcyclesusa.com/2024-kramer-gp2-890rr alllllll that being said, i'm just going to keep the bike. i'm not really willing to take a $10k loss on this bike at this point and that seems to be where the market is at (or worse), so i'll just ride the shit out of it next year. thanks for all the interest.
ok... spring has sprung and i don't think i'll be riding this thing on track this year. a couple of changes. no more kramer bodywork, just the OEM KTM stuff. only the one set of wheels (all other spares still included). bike now has a Kramer oil cooler installed (same one they put on the 2023's) i also have a zero gravity tall windscreen for it... so two windscreens, stock and tall. back up for sale. didn't add any miles since the original posting. 230 total. $30k
