Netflix. What to watch?

To each their own, but as a huge Bill Burr fan I was disappointed. I hope he can keep making movies and get better at it though.

 

i was too. I thought it was pretty ok at best, borderline Adam Sandler terrible.

 

Havent read this whole thread so it may have been listed. "Pain Hustlers" is now out on Netflix. Really good. Its hard for me to find something I enjoy but to my surprise this was good.

I've been watch Pieces of her. No it's not porn. Pretty decent so far

 

Watched Gran Turismo last night. It was pretty decent. I like that it’s based off a real driver.

 

I'm always a fan of good music docs so was excited to see the Tanya Tucker doc on Netflix. Very well done piece, one of the better ones I've seen.

 

Wrinkles the Clown. A documentary about Wrinkles, a clown parents used to scare their kids into behaving.

The 3 part series Get Gotti was pretty good.

 

"Wind River" the best movie I've seen in a long time.

 

Had been in our watch list for a while, wife and I watched it last night. Good movie.

 

Watched the Sly documentary last night.
I liked it, but I've always liked Stallone.

 

If you like Taylor Sheridan’s style, he also wrote Hell or High Water. Great movie but directed by someone else.

 

Just watched Tetris tonight and really enjoyed it. The true story of how the game came to be. It was created in Russia.

 

Squaring the Circle. The stories behind some of the most iconic album covers of all time. I really enjoyed it.

 

Seemed like half the cast was from Yellowstone

 

Doesn't seem... they were. Taylor has a certain type of actor he likes, and utilizes them in almost all his projects. Look at Jeremy Renner for instance... In Wind River, and in Mayor of Kingstown... both Taylor Sheridan projects. If you look closely at the Native Americans in his projects, he utilizes the same people, over and over. Yep, I watched another of his movies a couple of nights ago and a few of the actors in it were in Wind River too.

 

Real life Tony Soprano who buys a hockey team for his son, also named AJ, to run. It’s entertaining, for sure.

 

I enjoyed it too, but was pretty bummed it was just another murder flick. Was hoping for much more.. I drive thru the Wind River res several times a year. Beautiful country.
