Can anyone give me the best source to find the true private sale value of my 2019 Honda Civic with 13,828 miles on it? Or perhaps one of you has access to whatever resource dealers use to determine value? I need to sell it rather quickly. Are any of the online places like Carmax worth going through? It's silver, 1.5 l turbo, vin SHHFK7H86KU206403, perfect condition. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Around here, list it on the local list serve or local Facebook group (after finding its value of course) and it’ll be gone in days. Honder civics are like printing money here. Those we buy your car websites pay you a lot less than it’s actual worth. did you check Kelly blue book for worth?
Simply do a search for that exact same car on FB marketplace, that's where I'd start. You could try craigslist although that's been mostly dead for a few years now. Then do another search on Autotrader and cars.com These will be true market indicators, much more accurate than NADA or kellybluebook. It's also helpful if you look at private sellers, not dealerships.
Also check cargurus.com. For each example of that make and model, it will indicate whether that price is a good deal, great deal, or a bad deal.
I'm with this. it's a pretty decent gauge. carmax depending on the area can be low or high, but they usually are easy to deal with
I recently sold my ford dually. Checked all the online car buyers and actually got more from a ford dealer. Might be worth calling a honda dealer.
Wholesale @ auction was pretty high and I was happy with that $$. I used MMR for that figure. Funny thing was some of those car buyers lowballing me required I drop the truck off @ manhiems in orlando to do the deal.
I just ran my 2017 Transit Connect with 20040 mile and the offer was $15,500 which is 10k less that my dealer offered me on a trade in .
Damn it. I hate when work gets in the way of insulting people on the beeb. I wanted to offer tree fiddy.
Was this the one you won? I will buy it for that $15,400 price. I like Civics and have blown head gaskets out a couple of them. This would be the lowest mile one I bought, and most expensive. The others were only $5k.
