Myra. It was 111 yesterday and you could shoot a shotgun in the main grandstand and not hit a soul. It stupid hot. Plus with only MotoAmerica and not even full show they are gonna loose there ass. Stayed at sane hotel as Wayne and talked briefly yesterday at breakfast and he was not happy but what can you do about weather
Jeremy McWilliams seems to insist on reaffirming that age is just a number. That has to be a world record for a biggest highside by a 60 year old.
Was happy to see Richie put the old , outdated Suzuki that everybody loves to rag on, on the box. For all you haters
Agreed!!! That was a hard tumble! I didn’t know he was that old - much respect to him to be out there.
Yea, there’s tumbleweeds blowing through this place. Still, really enjoyed the show today and looking forward to tomorrow. It’s readily apparent that the track could care less about this event. 3/4 of the place is gated off as they are busy preparing for F1. We’re at the campground by the esses, but the hill by the esses is all closed off - and if a gate is open, security comes by and chases you out (albeit nicely) as you can’t be where they’re building temp grandstands. Only places to watch are the main grandstands, the two bridges and the stadium section is open. All the other stands are blocked off. It would seem the facility is trying to run the event with as little personnel as possible. It’s understandable, but it still sucks. Still, it’s nice to be here. This was one of our few free weekends to be spectators so we’ll take it.
Seeing Jake set a new lap record makes me wonder what changes they made to the R1 for it not to get chased down in the straight
do the organizers just toss the schedule to the wind? supposed to have SBK warmup at 10:50 EST and I've been waiting for coverage to start and there's 8 min left for the baggers and they weren't scheduled until 11:15am EST...
