Rea topped FP1 with 1'36.900 Gerloff second fastest at 1'37.057 Toprack in 3rd with 1'37.060, but way more consistent than anyone else
Rinaldi goes 1st in FP2 after ripping a one off fast lap of 1'36:973 Gerloff 2nd again with 1'36.981 and looking comfortable with multiple laps in the mid to low 1'37's Toprack in 3rd with 1'37.114 and several laps in the low 1'37's
Fuck yeah!!! I hadn't posted anything for fear of jinxing him, but GG31 on pole. How about that? I'm happy for him, and excited for the race with how consistently fast he's been this wknd. Awesome interview too. He even had the ability to joke about him and other riders being glad no one is in front if him for the start, lol. Shows that his head is in a good place which is an awesome sign.
Solid finish, lost some places on lap 1 but showed some fight with other riders. Settled in with a solid pace. If he can hold position a little better on the start that'll bode well for him in tomorrow's races. I thought he looked good.
So penalty for Redding but not Bautista? Wtf. Bautista capped his dumb move off by stuffing it up the inside of Lowe’s who ran off track to avoid contact. Wrong passport or not being at the pointy end of the championship I guess.
The interview with Denning about as blunt as I’ve heard anyone discuss Dorna. Said we need to look into both the competency and consistency of the stewards. I’m generally not one for penalizing, but that was as black and white as they come. Real nice ride by GG in race 2.
Good to see Garrett having some success this weekend. Hopefully it continues. Bautista didn’t have a mechanical today, so another 5+ second win. And stewards, well, they love that Aruba Ducati, Lol. You see anything, I didn’t see anything…
