It writes directly to the ECU and does not require a piggyback controller on the bike. It works most popular ECUs, check Woolich site for your bike. In order to use this on your bike, you will need to purchase a bike specific harness and a bin file from woolich (their version of a license), which are readily available from their website. Once you purchase a bin file, you can download all the software from Woolich.
