    RRW just posted that Colin and his series will now be spec with BStone?

    Interesting, does any other series use them?

    I know they are/were the preferred options for the Suzuka 8hours (open tire race)

    Speaking of endurance and tires, the Moto 2 guys are only getting three soft tires this weekend because a whole bunch of the same tires were diverted to the Bol d'Or, which is also running this weekend.

    BStone has always spent bizzilons to make sure they win that home race.

    That’s a shock, seeing how close Colin and Sandy work together.

    My bet was Sandy and Pro6 would take over CSBK with Dunlop as the supplier in perpetuity!

    Are the tires they run there different than the ones we get?

    Side note: The VO2 soft front slick was the cat’s ass on my BMW.

    They seem to have found a lot of budget. They’re making big pushes in clubs to get the product placed.

    My bet is money was the biggest influence, and maybe the other company didn't want to spend more to keep the series?

    The clues were easy or so I thought

    RRW=roadracingworld
    CSBK= Canadian Superbike
    Tire supplier= BStone

    You don't know me very well, obviously. I can easily lower the average here on certain things. But no worries; it helps keep my Google-fu in shape.

    Somewhat confused when I though Colin Edwards was forming Colin's Superbike Blowing (Up) Kontest series.

    They were working on a deal years ago. I guess they finally worked it out.

    There's a new front slick, and it was causing some supply issues.

    They had 3 different tiers of tires at Suzuka when I raced there. You couldn’t get the top tier stuff unless you were a factory team and they were good for up to 2 seconds a lap (at least).

    Ahh great to hear from someone with actual experience.
    I was told the tires we can get here are the same they run at Suzuka, seems to not be the case.
    But yeah, Ive heard you need the Stones to win at Suzuka, and with you saying 2 seconds per lap over "regular" bridgestones, that does seem to be the case!

    Well, that statement isn’t incorrect. The privateer teams get the same stuff at Suzuka that you get here. Which are still phenomenal tires.

    Can't say I'm not happy, cause I iz, but would rather Pirellis but I know it didn't end well between Colin and Kevin.

    And between D's and Bstones, I'll take the Stones. Sorry StickBoy :(

    I wonder if their was a fallout between Colin and Pro6 :rolleyes:

    Hey Alex, how many tires can a racer buy at a CSBK event this year? And do you the price per set, and CDN dollars are fine?
