It would be interesting to see how the manufacturing process takes place in a "reputable" modern company facility. I gotta feeling you'd be sorely disappointed. This is why most of the manufacturing facilities won't let you see the process under the guise of "proprietary technology".
Maybe, maybe not, but I would bet the manufacturing process for many cheap Ebay Chinese made sprockets is not much different. Oh, and there was quality control of a sort, as the one guy threw out some of the bad discs after they were stamped.
I’d say it’s a pretty lean organization. no waste on 5S or expensive engineers, let alone cleaning personnel. The CEO must be making bank!
