You know you're right for one another when your every move is mirrored, you fall into each others curves like you were from opposite molds, your thoughts are completed with limited action, your view of the world isn't dimmed or shadowed by their existence, you are you despite the other - existing in tandem on the same path - each with a distinct line where you end and they begin. Content, not needing reassurance, just moving forward as if it were all planned out.

That's how I feel about the VFR.

That bad ass machine cradles me like a newborn baby. I fit into all the right places when I tuck in for a corner, and slide right back where I belong on exit. I can climb around on that thing like a monkey and she still holds me tight. The adrenalin dump from the commute on 94 makes me feel like I am fighting fires again. :p

The base of my thumbs to my forearms are on fire, but I can't hang it up despite the constant ache. The throttle assist has been a lifesaver on my Lupus journey, but I may have to rig up a gas pedal someday.

I loved my GPz750, but it's been gone a long time. My perfect match must be my BMW R90, since I've kept it for nearly 40 years.

Speaking of RC51's, did anyone mention/start a thread about Nicky Hayden's 40th bday last Friday?

Nope, but if it really is a big ol’ red pig I’m interested. I don’t really fit on modern 600s and the like.

Shit, I wish I had one man even just stock. I don’t know if I could justify buying one even as much as I like them. You can barely find one, and the only one I see online is $7500 for a 2001. A brand new 650L is $7k! With a boatload of spare parts readily available. Whereas the 650R you might have to CNC stuff.

If I had money to burn I would. Maybe I just need to work on being less practical and say F it.

Well at least it’s cheaper than getting a Grand National, lol.
