Could be...... https://www.hagerty.com/media/motorcycles/suzukis-insane-hayabusa-returns-next-friday/
It's Euro 5 compliant and has BNG, otherwise 20+ year old tech and design. Hard pass. But hey, if 300 rear tires and 40" swingarm's are your jam - party on!
I can’t believe they haven’t done much since 98 with this bike. Design a new motor and lighten the chassis and upgrade some goodies and it would sell a ton I think.
have you seen a modern Busa rider? Calling them a rider is generous. On the flip side Kawi has done ridiculous stuff with the 14 and the H2. Good street duty hyperbores with enough ass to put a smile on your face.
Screen shot is from the video. Power levels, traction control, quick shifter, and what's "LF" ? Looks like air temperature for some unknown reason, and a lean angle display?
Lol at guys wanting a sport bike 'busa. The majority of guys who buy them could care less about the way they handle(compared to a real rr replica),saving every last ounce, very latest suspension, etc. It's a wonder they did the 2008 update because they would've sold without it anyway. I know this isn't a group that really appreciates it,but you can't really go faster for cheaper on 2 wheels if that's your thing. It's the small block chevy of motorcycles.
I still secretly want one. A white one. I just think it’d be fun and also funny. Some people say I’m a tad bit on the height challenged and seeing someone a bit short riding one would be funny.
I think those look nice, tbh. All these TFT dashes will look super dated in a few year’s time. Gauges are timeless.
They could have done so much with that motor all these years. They could have made a nice naked version (not that B-King bullshit), and a really good ST bike. I know a lot of people put bar risers and aftermarket bags and use them for that purpose. But it would be nice for Suzuki to make a proper one. In other words, take a hint from Kawi.
