Odd-Ball Picture of the Day

Wanna hear something kinda morbid. When I was 15 my Dad took me to a scrap metal facility in Philadelphia to look for hi-temp allot turbine engine parts, he was an repair engineer looking for test pieces. So I'm roaming around the place and I find about 6 or so 55 gallon barrels filled with these odd-ball looking pieces, some fitted together like a contraption others were weird shaped rods, all were extremely dusty and crusty. So I gather up a bunch of them to show my Dad and ask if he knew what they were. He immediately said "put those back right fucking now and wash your hands" "Well what are they Dad?" "Its all from the crematorium, that's artificial hips, joints, surgical rods etc. That crusty stuff is what remains of the persons body."

 

Don't feel bad, I read it as "Mad Brad Lawson is great" and thought that was what he was referring to.

 

And a side of curmudgeon.

 

Looks to me like the guy not wearing his hard hat is the one who stands to benefit the most from one.

Nor do they realize how high you have to be to think that this is true to scale.

This is stupid. America is inside North America, which is featured in the upper right of the pic over Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. What's freaking sad is most people who see this will totally believe it

 

Except they don't have chin straps. If he had a hard hat on, it would fall off and ruin the finish on the concrete. Not to mention wet concrete is soft. If he fell in, a head injury would not be his concern.

 

Concretes setting up. Gotta get with it brotha!

 

I'd say those guys are showing some gumption.
That's a can-do attitude right there, not to mention teamwork.

 

They look like Mexicans, not Mexicant's.

 

My brother works as a funeral director and had a client ask him if they could salvage an artificial knee from a family member. That was weird.

 

Would make a cool paperweight conversation piece.

I had a titanium rod removed from my shoulder and I asked for it back and they told me no.
