Snowflake! Oh and aren't white plates novice in Canada (I think red letters)? I would google but unlike you what other folks are doing is not much of my concern unless it jeopardizes my safety.
Go ahead? I hope no group assignment is made based upon plate color. Also I would hope at a track day the aggressiveness of your passes in the "A" group is also not made based upon plate color.
come to a track day, oh I aint never did one of those... i'm skeerd one of those fakeplates might leg dangle on me with a buzz pass @mastermind can you help me?
OK, so, after I did my first trackday (2001 or 02 I think...with Nesba) I went home, assembled spare rashed bodywork, fixed and painted it and thought, hell...# plates would be cool! Painted those on too...in white. Why? Because it was a track day for street riders and I didn't know the difference between any damn colors .
The trackday actually puts on races throught the day, w/ licenced experts and amatuers. They take it pretty seriously. I think it BS street guys getting to run expert plates. The beeb has spoken, and I am wrong on this one :/
It’s MCRA. They’re a good bunch, and I know they try, but it’s an EXTREMELY simplified race org. There’s no reason to get butthurt over plates. Just be glad they exist and are getting people on to the track.
So my new racebike is coming from a fast guy. It has a white number plate. Should I tape over it with a big red X? Picture of a chicken? As a guy planning to race most of us don't know what a white or yellow number plate means. I plan on changing it when I get a number in the novice old as +40 racing.
yes, good bunch. i been w the club since i was a teenager, started as corner marshall, then raced, started w/ them in 1986.
