    Thanks, Sean! Missed being there. Will have racebike again soon, I hope. I loved that Ducati, but a borrowed ride is a bit unnerving ... :)

    I still remember standing at the window of the WSMC office and looking at the posted practice times from the morning. The conversation went something like this:
    Me: "FUCK!"
    Sandy, my wife: "What?"
    Me: "Pete Ellis has an SV500! He's gonna destroy us!"
    Sandy: "Come on, you've been going well, you're faster than you've ever been."
    Me: "No, no, you don't understand. Ellis finished top-five in the Roadracing World 250/50. He's REALLY fast. He's gonna kill us."
    Sandy: "I think you're exaggerating."
    Dan: "Hey guys, what's up?"
    Me: "Pete Ellis is here on an SV500!"
    Dan: "FUCK!!!!"
