1 bay door garage here (yes- there are 2 bay door garages in my neighborhood but those houses start at $2 mil), but I have good ceiling height. It's your clasic- 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lbs bag, forced to keep a few bikes, a lift and a rolling toolbox in the back of my trailer. I've mounted 8' ceiling racks for the non- motorcycle related stuff- winter wheels and tires for the cars, plastic totes with non-essential shit etc. Also have a wall mounted Michelin tire rack up against the ceiling for motorcycle wheels and tires. Getting stuff off the floor is the key IMHO, I have to get more aggressive with wall shelves and get rid of a few racks.
There are proper cleaning supplies, as it doesn't always look like that. If you go on Garage Journal, you can find the build thread (Motorcycle Roadrace Garage). Shows the process for the pit and getting the lift in there. It's a bit of a frankenstein - KLX motor/chassis, Honda NSF-100 wheels, KTM65 front end, KTM450 brakes. And for anyone who knows me, that Honda logo is on every bike - mostly ones that aren't Hondas..
Some of you... nicely done. The day you come from work and your wife asks you to make room in the garage so she can park her car in... and she's talking about in here
Ok I think Mr. Kraft wins the thread. That's just... wow. Most impressive sir! What kind of lift is that? How do you like it? EDIT: I think I found it: https://www.lift-tables.net/kandl/mc500r.php Correct?
Very nice! Looks like your cat needs to adjust the rear camber a bit on your dune buggy however. LOL What kind of motorcycle lift is that? How do you like it?
Link to Garage Journal thread so this is easier to find later. You guys put an impressive amount of work into that. Wow. Much more ambitious that I am. What happens if you move? lol
Not cool. You have Speed Buggy locked in your garage? Let him out so he can make more awesome cartoons
Do it again, but different and maybe better. It was overboard but I enjoyed the details and planning to make it work. Thanks. And yes on the K&L lift. That part was tricky overall, just in that it had to be planned out before everything else.
