Swear I saw something on twitter or instagram or something with NH and Tommy a few days ago, so, wondering if he's already there.

This sucks. My stomach is in a knot reading about it.

It also pisses me off, that he's been stuck on shit equipment for the last few years, and this could end his racing career.

I seriously didn't give a crap about motorsports in general until 2006 when I got my first sport bike and was exposed to road racing, including Moto GP. I'm not one to idolize any human, but I've always been proud that Nicky has been representing the USA around the world. I can live a happy life if I never see Nicky race again. Good Lord just let him survive this.

 

Fuck man, this is nauseating. He was my favorite pro racer growing up and still one of my favorites. I remember when he was 16 and racing pro. I was just a kid and he gave me inspiration that maybe I could be like him one day when I grew up. Was gonna get to see him race in person for the first time at Laguna in a couple months.

At this point, I don't even care if he races again. Just want him to recover to continue living a fulfilling life, whatever that means to him. Guy spends 20 years rack motorcycles at the professional level and gets his worst accident on a fucking bicycle in a tangle with a car. Sucks.

 

Hopes and prayers for the Champ and his family. It's nice to see the support the racing community is giving him and his loved ones. Seeing how close that family is, my heart goes out to them

 

I couldn't care less about meeting my favorite musicians, athletes, celebrities, etc. I can count on one hand how many people I would be giddy if I met in person. Nicky is one of them.
