Hotbodies does not list a race body for the 01-02 GSXR 1000. Some quick research shows that it looks real close. It is thin flexible fiberglass so it might not be difficult to make it work. Can any one confirm?
I am curious on this bc i know the street bodywork isnt supposed to fit but i was unsure on the race plastic. If it didnt fit looking at pictures of the bodywork above i would imagine the fit issues to b with the bellypan as maybe my 1000s larger engine might hang a little lower?
I found this on www.airtech-streamlining.com. See pictures. It looks pretty close. 7GSXR7SS2 Suzuki GSXR 1000 Supersport race lower fairing This is the bottom half to our two-piece super sport race fairing assembly. This piece is the bottom right and left lowers, the front radiator shrouding, and the oil containment belly pan all molded as a one-piece unit. This fairing is cut open on the left hand side for your generators and does have a side stand provision. This piece only works with our 7GSXR7SS1 upper fairing. Please note: This is a GSXR750 part that will work on your GSXR1000. You'll have to trim the lower slightly in the rear to clear the oil cooler on the GSXR1000
