I was digging around in my garage and found a couple boxes of F3 parts. Go figure! Some of it is stock parts and some other stuff like a few NRC case covers. One even looks brand new. I have a straight tank also, but it has dry residue from old fuel in it. I even have a hard to find HRC ECU. Let me know if someone would be interested and I can bring it to the GNF.

Seems like some parts just didn't show up in time
So I will fix all my bike problems and be back next yr.

OK....I gotta know.....what bike parts did not show up? I have seen at least two guys this year scrounge up junk motors to put in their bikes to make a race. You raise a ruckus about how the V7 structure is. We get a pot together to try to make it an incentive for all you guys and for you as well to come and show us what racing is all about at the biggest race of the year. And you go and back out because of parts???? I know there are guys that would help with parts if you asked. You have had how many months to prepare for the GNF? I see a pattern here....AGAIN!

 

1st off kiss my ass. 2nd it's hard to race without forks.
I've done nothing but try to get rules changed to get more people on the grid.
I've tried selling guys bikes who can't unload them. Ask anybody who trying to sell bikes

I don't owe you anything or anyone else.
I travel farther for my races than anyone.
I sacrifice more to race than you or anyone else.

But I've been doing this for over 20 yr's now.
So I get a little tired of listening to people

Sent the forks off. They are not back yet.
I was to leave at 4 am to be at Barber.
I'm not in the points so it's really no need for me to race. But I sent forks off.
So I wanted to fix something that has been giving me a problem all year.
Things happen that I can't control.
I'd rather have it fixed than have it not right.
I'm sure you will get over me not going.

Stuff happens.
But I've already spent 26 hours in a vehicle to get 2nd place by not being prepared.
So I took steps to fix it.
Forks didn't arrive, shipped Friday.
And I don't run regular forks so throwing f3 forks back on won't solve my problems.
But I noticed the 2 guys who are bitching the most don't race full time or don't race at all.
But im sure the guys who show up will put on a show.
Wish I could be there but as much as I'd like to be in will just save my money and get bike fixed and be back ready for next yr.

I am just busting your chops Steve. I started this thread primarily for you. You need to chill out. Plus, EVEN if I COULD get out there, you would not want me racing with you! It would just piss you off that much more.

 

Sadly, I'm not going to make it down on Friday to watch the money race, but I sent my $50 for the prize so good luck to everyone!

 

I am leaving early in the morning to make my rounds through GA for work and then off to the GNF! Looking forward to some great racing from some great racers! I am bringing some cash, a kewl vintage trophy, and a little something extra for the winner.
