I need about 20' of cable; I've found it online, but only in spools of 1000'.

Other than the 18AWGX2C and the 105*C, I have no idea what the rest means.

WTF do you need 105*C rated 18-2 for?

It may be due to environmental temps, not conductor temps.

It's for use around auto/truck engine compartments.

Run to NAPA. 25' rolls in any color you like.

This is just plain duplex wire correct? Let me look around my warehouse Monday, I may have a few 5,000ft spools left over from a job.

Yikes! you have 5000' spools "leftover" from a job?
    You need a new estimator.

Not if he can sell the extra 5000 feet a second time.

depends on if the shrinkage is within parameters over the size of the job. waste was almost non existant.

I don't have it. The only 18 ga 105*c wire I have is flat lamp style cord, mostly short sections like 8 ft.

If any of you guys need any low voltage wire, like 2 or 4 conductor 26-28 ga round or some phone cordage let me know.

classic NJ contractor. SOP. it just fell off the back to the truck...

when i worked in Jersey, we'd have random contractors (weekly) stop at the front desk with a truckload of whatever and ask to see the facilities guy about whether we needed anything done to our building.
