Damn, you aint kidding....I haven't followed the latest advancements these past few yrs, what is it about the R1 that has everyone out buying them up?
Sweet! I'm getting mine from Romney next week. It's funny, it seems Miller and Romney are the two best places to get the R1. Good luck:up:
Those new R1's are awesome. Eddie set a PB on his in his first weekend on it. Supposedly they are the most user friendly and easiest Liter bike to ride in history. Light, narrow, nimble, that Crossplane power delivery and very intuitive electronics.
I talked to a guy at Summit on Friday who had one. He said he got his from Romney for under $15k out the door!
You are so fickle! First the Pani 1299, then the MV800, now this! You're worse than a guy with a bottle of Viagra in a whorehouse. "I'll take this one, no wait I'll take that one, oh wait, that one is pretty too, I want that one."
The thing is, if I got the R1 I would HAVE to keep racing the R6 so I could get enough races in. And im trying to get to a point where im only racing one bike (plus Grim of course ).
You're MUCH nicer than what I was gonna say. He's worse than a chic in a shoe store. Chris, just listen to that crossplane motor, think Panigale like torque with a MV like hit on the upper range. Plus you'll have a more factory team like pit with TWO Yamaha's, the OCD in you will just LOVE that! Paint them up the same colors and such........oh man!!!
Just curious, did you ride it before you bought it? With that little jewel in the truck, I would have to stop an hour before home for a ride. Nice bike.
I'll bet it was just like a big puppy and jumped right into your truck on it's own huh? Now you've got to feed it. It is a good looking puppy isn't it?
