I'm way behind on KRAVE and entry fees. What is going to cost to run a kid in this class just in entry fees?
In other series I have heard them called safety checks, sounds good in the press release, makes everyone think they were looking out for the competitors.
Nothing from MotoAmerica yet, but judging by the 2015 BSB KTM cup rules and the 2014 ADAC Junior Cup rules of IDM (which both spec bike-only min. weight), I seriously doubt the minimum for MA will be combined...
If you have time go back and read thru this thread... http://forums.13x.com/showthread.php?t=168258&highlight=AMA+bought Lots of people were wrong the last time to a degree. Time will tell if history repeats itself but I will say this... Being excited as I am I'm very skeptical at this point. Just My Opinion but I'm with the families of the kids deciding to sit back and watch this for the first year. Glad I don't have a kid I'd have to make this decision for... Ride safe, AAron
Bitching and getting input from our customers on our rules are two different things. I don't make any rules to stop bitching.
Just talked to someone at the track and they said it's gonna happen but they haven't put it on their schedule yet as they are still ironing-out a few details...
Kind of wish they would let older riders run with different color number plates and maybe a dual wave start. I could see some of the XR guys liking this class to play in and the more bikes they sell the better.
Some older guys really liked/ preferred 125/250 GP bikes. Why not ride the new KTM if you are a small bike guy?
Been lurking the thread for a while - some really good information here to consider. I just sold my 250 and have been looking for something to fill the void - the 390 looks like a good fit. Still plan to run HWT, but had a lot of fun in DSS. I'm well past Cup qualification age, so will likely buy a stocker and go from there. Has anyone found non-KTM sources for bodywork, suspension bits, etc.?
