when was Marky's last crash? is he overdue? i'm just throwin' that mojo out there to make it fair for the others this week end. and karma being karma (not that i believe in that witchcraft), i'm not scared of it coming back on me...'cause i crash everything i own all the time, with much skill and fierce consistency
hopefully Honda will get him more HP and they keep improving and developing electronics so Nicky can sneak in a top five here and there.
Several claims that Edwards will retire following this weekend. Drama! From Twitter: "Matthew Birt @birtymotogp Trying to get to bottom of Edwards/Forward split. Colin's denial has not put much water on the flames. Still lots of talk about a split"
It was sad to see (Rossi's onboard) how easily Rossi caught up to, and blew by Nicky, on the straights. Nicky was going pretty damn good in the corners!
Has to be a performance clause in that Honda contract. That bike is such a smoking hot turd. Really,it's sad that the crt bikes are just as fast in a straight line as the production honda
surprised that didnt get more traction on here looks like they have 3 or 4 engines trying to put that fire out http://motomatters.com/news/2014/05/02/colin_edwards_to_quit_racing_after_jerez.html
Is it really a turd when you consider what it is? Honda did what Dorna asked and built a bike that could be bought for 1 million Euros. The Yamaha open project uses leased engines. I don't feel sorry for Honda, but you're not really comparing apples and apples. It's a turd in comparison to any other machine except for the last of the CRTs, but it was never meant to compete with the full prototypes. That being said, I can't imagine the evil red empire will be content that their bikes are regularly being slaughtered.
It has been fantastic watching Collin over all these years. He will retire before season ends, he is naturally to competitive to stay out there riding the way he is these days and his team mate proves it is not the bike at fault
