Either a way to see only what friends actually post, without being subjected to everything they like, tag, comment on in my newsfeed? Or do I have to shut them up entirely?
you can block tagging and block posting on your timeline it works for just if you hit the right settings. also make sure you have the ones you want to "follow" on subscribtion
But that would also block all their original posts, right? I don't mind finding out when people get married, or have important things happen. I just don't need to know what game they play or what pictures they like.
I'm sure you can, but I block a few friends of everything they post. If I wantr to check in I can go on the page and still see it
Did any of you notice the update to the mobile app permissions? At least on my android, they want to read my email, texts, calls, send emails, etc. All without my input it seems?
Can someone please assist me in ending the email notifications of "friends" inviting me to play candi crush and other senseless games? I can get at least 2 to 3 invites a day from one friend. Its annoying as hell.
Hold your cursor to the right of the post and then the X will appear. Click it and several options will pop up. One option will say "Block Candi Crush" click it and it will block the invites to play that game from everyone without blocking their other posts.
