    The vet said I didn't cause it...it had to be something underlying because her sugar wasn't even that low. It hurts just as much though.

    This is a bit of welcome news for you. I should have acted sooner for one of my dogs and even though I did it unwittingly, I still carry it with me many years later.

    Sorry, man. I can't fathom the loss I'll feel when mine moves on. You're a strong and good man, and you did everything you could have for her, including being there for her emotionally - I truly believe that makes as much of a difference for dogs as it does humans.

    Just remember, all dogs go to Heaven.. and both Penny and your wife love you.
