just saw the weather report for the east coast re: Sandy...doesn't look good so far. Hope all youz right coasters stay safe.
I'm in east Tennessee and all it has done so far is drop the temp and bring in a little drizzle type rain. I havent seen the latest weather, maybe I should check.
After all the hoopla with last year's storm, all I got was some rain and a bit of wind. My electricity was out for about 25 minutes. I'm not expecting much worse this time around. We did sell about 100 Honda generators at MSRP at work today!
Glad it's not as bad as the weather headlines made it out to be.. Dang, you did sell a few genny's....lol
I'm stocked up! Got a family size bag of Utz, some mexican cokes and a couple of packs of smokes. Bring it Sandy, I'm ready for ya'!
Also borderline liquor vs screwed.....Damn, the state stores are closed on Sunday! Guess I'm just screwed...
it hasn't hit yet, i don't have a generator (i sold it when i quit racing, should have kept it) were about 2.5 hours west of nyc but expecting high winds and they are saying about 10-12 inches of rain
Starting to get a bit windy here in Westchester, NY. We just had to stop at the gas station because my truck was on E. What a group of idiots at the pumps. People yelling at each other and stuff....good times.
That was in reference to last year's storm. This one pending. I'm hoping for no work tomorrow, maybe even Tuesday, too.

We're in central NJ not very far from the coast....we're gonna get the snot knocked out of us!:wow: I have the generator ready, 15 extra gallons of gas, extra propane, lot's of block ice, beer, wine and food. We're good to go!
