Between this and the LW smacktalk thread, I'm pretty sure Morris' ribs are going to be a-hurtin'. Go Morris!
More Good News Talked to Kathy today and received a very positive update. Morris was sitting up and talking for a good portion of the day, WALKED a little! and has demonstrated critical fine motor skills by selecting ESPN on the hospital TV remote. (Proving that is masculinity is still intact) They are stoked at the hospital and so am I. Now they are hoping to get him into a rehab facility in Columbus this week. Whatever you are doing, keep doing it! It's working. Cheers to the Foors -- Home by the weekend!
Keep the great news coming. Make sure that he keeps out of the LW thread though. The gheyness in there is very strong. And Tuna just joined the party so that kicked it up a couple of notches right there to a level of 8. That's the Twilight level of gay. Not quite to Richard Simmons level 10 but close. Hell I even feel like a Homo writing this. Oh oh...... Does Morris have a MotoGP pass to watch the races!?!? If not PM me and he can have my username and password to watch them.
Morris said he plans on being at the Jennings endurance race but doubts he will be able to ride. I replied "ya think?". For a while it looks like he is going to be the new Team Yo! manager, which is a good thing. We desperately need some organizational skills. Was great seeing him sitting up, talking and joking, etc.. Still very tired and a bit foggy but he's there and getting better. Lungs/ribs are really giving him fits. He was using his phone for stuff which was awesome, Kathy was telling me the docs said it might be months before he would have fine motor control. Morris said "yeah, whatever" while he was clicking away looking for a picture.
Foor on the floor, but not for long! Get the heck outta that hospital - folks that are really hurt need the bed! J/K - Keep up the healin'.
I talked to Kathy earlier she said he was still having trouble weaning off the breathing machine. His lungs are taking longer than expected to heal. Looks like he's going to be there a little longer.
