I've never done an R6 and need to bypass the ignition. Bikes harness is all jacked and chopped up from guys installing alarms and lights, I need to start troubleshooting from the source. Would rather not fry anything so it's easier to swallow my pride and ask. Cheaper too. PM me, not exactly the info that should be posted in the open. And no.... I'm not stealing an 02 R6.
Serious guys, I'm getting some crazy stuff on my meter and none of it matches the wiring diagram. Some research says that the wiring diagram is incorrect. I'm getting hot through grounds and all kinds of weirdness with the key on.
I have an 04 and had to have a resister soldered in. I have no idea which size though...iirc the resistance was dropped 2 ohms when the key was turned on.
