I'm looking to start tracking my bike which is stock suspension wise. I noticed there are a few Yoshimura items that affect the way the chassis sits. They're relatively small parts with a somewhat hefty price tag. Does anyone have experience with these parts? Worth it? Or is the improvement only noticeable to Blake Young and other top racers...these are the parts I'm talking about: http://www.yoshimura-rd.com/t-kit_linkage_kit.aspx http://www.yoshimura-rd.com/t-kit_swing_arm_offset.aspx http://www.yoshimura-rd.com/t-kit_fork_tube_cap_set.aspx or would I be better off just upgrading the rear shock and forks?
1 don't need 2 don't need 3 maybe depending on the suspension set up and geometry you may need. Find a knowledgable suspension tuner and get the front an rear done. Don't worry yourself too much about the fancy shiny parts just yet.
Not sure on the L0/L1's but my friend doesn't run any of that stuff and won some novice championships. His expert buddy didn't think they helped much either.
I would assume its a K1 GSXR 1000 and just find a Local suspension guy and have him do his thing.....you will be fine
If you want mid corner stability get the fork extenders. Gixxers and especially this one want its nose high. I run mine with 7mm of the extender showing above the tree. As far as the linkage and pivot I have found they flatten the swing arm which allows me to open the throttle earlier and complete the corner. Something that was harder to do in stock trim with only a Penske triple outback. Just one man’s experience. More info Here. http://forums.13x.com/showthread.php?t=285627
