Started this year at 34. Worked corners in '97, was immediately hooked, and then immediately had a street crash that about cost me my life (or at least my legs). Laying in the hospital, people asking, "You ever gonna ride a motorcycle again?" Didn't have the heart to tell them that, not only did I want to ride again, I HAD to race! Finally got to this year.
I think that's cool. I started just a few years ago and have always felt like I was super-late. It's good to see that others started later than me.
29, I'll be 31 next month. Been riding for 15 years, toyed with the racing idea in the early nineties, but only got the funds recently.
23. started this year. i mean...SOMEONE'S gotta teach all y'all OLD men a lesson here in the next few years (just lemme get good first)
24 years old, May of 1985. Then got married, June of 1985. So then I could say "Well, you KNEW I was a racer when we got married"
I did my first race when I was 23. And look at me now.... I'm lopsided, I have scars, and it hurts to drive with my left arm. *sigh*
It wasnt until I turned 30 (exactly to the day) that I could afford to, so this was my b-day gift to myself
Have ridden since I was 10. Started track days at 36. Went racing last year at 38. Picked up the NE and MA Hvywt. Twins Novice championships. Never thought that would happen.
