2011 yamaha r6 super bike tail

I had this posted in the tech forum, but I wasn't getting many responses. I am mounting a Armour Bodies Superbike tail on my R6, and I am having trouble finding a place for the seat pan. If you could show me where some of you have mounted yours that would help a bunch. Thanks.

 

If you're referring to the aluminum plate between the frame and seat, I just didn't put it in. Less weight! haha

 

No. Woodcraft sent me a fiberglass piece that is supposed to go under the seat to keep it from cracking.

 

This is a old Hot Bodies tail but, something like this? Its glued in this one, hope it helps.

 

If it's what I think your talking about just pop rivet onto the bottom of your tail

 

Did you ask woodcraft? They are really good about stuff like this.

 

Yea I called woodcraft. They gave me a better idea of what I should do. I have it mounted now. Thanks everyone.

 

+1 that works great...also velcro works well if you don't want to be permanent
