The look on the designers face is saying "Faak, can't put on chain because counter sprocket on wrong side."
Other than the micro tail section, I like it. Not sure how well it will work, but it will certainly be interesting to ride. I bet Leno gets one.
there's a reason everyone went with watercooling and fairings... and yea, 2L crank up top...the gyroscopic effect would be massive...good luck getting that to flick back and fourth on a race track.
I like it. the name is the first thing that really works for me. it reminds me of a flying elephant & a fish looking for his father. it makes me think of a flying elephant looking for his father who is a fish.
Yip, everyone got it wrong. All you have to do is flip the whole damn thing upside down.......................... ridiculous.
This thing is back in the news. They're doing some crowdfunding if anyone is interested in throwing away money you are surely never seeing again.
Wasn't there a 125GP bike several years ago from a Chinese company that had an upside down motor? From what I remember, for some reason, it proved to be dangerous and the last I heard they were suing the engineer who designed it for them. I believe he was a Dutch bloke.
They could have saved themselves a bunch of time and just copied this one. On the plus side the hipsters would freak for an old aircooled plane engine and pay super large wheelbarrows of cash.
