looks awesome. i don't really pay much attention to the new muscle cars, but this one looks pretty cool. lighter than the GT500. http://www.fordvehicles.com/cars/mustang/2012mustangboss/
I've thought about that as a replacement for my 2010 GT. Butt ONLY if there is a "graphics delete" option.
The Boss 302 badges/stripes on the fender and door could stay, they're no too bad and kind of along the lines of the original...I think. The rest looks like some riced out 16 year old kid got ahold of a can of Krylon
The stripes are taken from the original Boss 302. Removing the strips from the new 302 wouldn't exactly be Boss 302 style. Keep the stripes.
I suppose if I were to buy one of those, it'd have to be in the competition orange. I mean, if you're gonna be flashy..........
man Id love take a 2012 GT.... 4v, 6 spd 412 NA power all day. this car has potential. there are a few shops that have them running 10's and 9's already. my lil supercharged 02 GT would be gone if I had the funds for a new car
graphics package? are you talking about the paint, or the front spoiler on the laguna seca model? i think the paint is awesome. same stripes as the original boss. and the front spoiler is similar to the original '69 boss. i highly doubt ford was thinking of emulating some rice-a-roni. take a look at the trans-am race cars of that era. if you read about it, they say that the front spoiler is only offered on the laguna seca model, and that since it's not street legal, the customer must install it. any way you shake it, this is a fast normally aspirated mustang that handles better than the GT500.
Im on a few mustang boards and they post their updates all the time. sorry 10s not 9's. but their gt500 is in the 9's easily. here is their youtube link, shop link and a mustang forum link if you're a mustang guy (lot of vettes camaro's evo's ect too) http://www.lethalperformance.com/ http://www.svtperformance.com/
