PR thing..it's so everytime you see a blue denim shirt, you'll at least think of leno..has to be that cuz he can certainly afford more than 1 type of shirt..lol
Some interview he did he spoke on his "uniform". Something like he has 50 of the exact same shirt and that's what he likes when he isn't doing the suit thing. Blue shirt, jeans and the black lace ups from payless.
OCD. My grandfather was the same way. Had like 50 of the same type and color shirt, pants etc. Makes deciding what to wear today pretty f'n easy huh :lmao
It's not just impromptu appearances. Any of the shows they have about Jay and his car projects on Discovery channel show him wearing the same outfit.
That is what he wears every day. He shows up to the set in that and puts it back on when he heads home. No joke. Probably sleeps in it.
Kind of like a cartoon character. You'd think 95 degree weather in the sun, that he'd at least have a short sleeve shirt on. Maybe he's covering some old tats that'll void his NBC contract
Maybe, like Johnny (Cash not Carson), he has his reasoning. Maybe by doing so, he can miss a few showers, a few wash and no one can tell.
