How much to paint bodywork?

    What's the going rate for a single stage paint job?

    I know some local boys that are doing 3 color jobs for 300ish.

    There are some good guys on here to do it.

    I had 2 sets of fairings painted by a local small body shop for $400 total.

    1 was single stage, solid white

    2nd set was base clear, two colors

    it isn't perfect but it looks pretty good for sure

    Chris at Ghetto does black w/ white or yellow plates for racers for $350 w/ the tank IIRC. Maybe he'll be along to correct me/confirm. He does a great job too.

    for NEW body work.......$250 for one solid color, that includes plates of either yellow or white.

    Old body work, depends on many things. Condition, old paint, crash damage, etc.....

    I have a friend that did an extremely nice rattle can job on mine, single color, for $50. nobody ever thinks it's rattle can because he did it so well. He's located in the Rowland Heights, CA area. if you're interested- PM me and i can get you in contact.

    speed werks did my bike, 3 colors, including number plates, for $350 and I am very happy with it.

    I usually charge 350.00 for a new set and tank. thats two colors and number plates. old waded up stuff it depends on what it is and what you want to get out of it.
