Folks, I'm fitting hotbodies race plastics on an 08 GSXR-1000. I've purchased a puig double double windscreen. I've noticed that the hot bodies front fairing isn't quite like the stock fairing at the bottom of the windscreen. The stock fairing contains a small light just above the headlight, and the windscreen is cut to fit the light. This light can't reasonably be mounted in the race fairings and, as a result, I have about a 1" gap between the bottom of the windscreen and the fairing, where this light would normally go. Are y'all purchasing different windscreens that don't have this cutout for the light or what other solution might I consider. -Curt
I spoke with Mike a HotBodies. This is a non-issue, the 06-07 GSXR windscreen mounts up perfectly and doesn't have the cutout for the parking light.
