I'm thinking about using 44mm quick throttle on my R1 for racing. Anyone can tell me if that's too big? Or what should I use? I do not want to get "dragster" out of it. What are you using? Thx Martin

Just remember when you reduce the pull, you also reduce the margin for error.

Most modern bikes come 1/4 or 1/5...to find out what you have, put a line on it and turn it 0-full....look at how much it turns.

My R1 is old 99. Will be runing Modern Vintage in MRA. I'm not sure what I have on it right now but it's stock.
I'm just having hard time coming out of turns on about half throttle only when I need full and braking in the slow turns with throttle still little open. Then I have to move my hand to corect it.

the 98's have a 36mm opening angle, if you went to a 40mm its 10% difference in opening time..
