Still sounds like pilot jets. Did you sync them too? Or maybe air leak.Vacuum line off. Plugs? Fuel?.......................Oh I give up!

Need more info. Not at all, very rough, or runs then dies?
Did it idle before you worked on it?
As above, start with the basics, like turn the idle waaaay up & see if it runs.
I believe yours has the "vacuum feed" style fuel system, so if your bowls were empty,
it will take some cranking to refill them.

it wont idle a t all unless its on choke.

carbs are clean and were synced as of the last time it ran

it has a pingle fuel valve on it getting rid of that vacume line but im starting to think its a leak somewhere..

stick, i've been spoiled if one one thoses fuel injected modern bikes. much easier to tune. if it don't run right just plug it in to the computer

If we get it running, will you come out and ride it?

Lean at idle- check your mixture screws.
And check for leaks, make sure any caps over vacuum ports on the intake boots aren't dry rotted. Sometimes they look fine, but once you twist or move it, you can see it's cracked. Like any rubber, they dry out over time.

Spell check? Vaccuum is a problem word for me.

That's why Skwid has to rotate out his trojans

Joey, I guess I should have noticed in your post where you mentioned the last time it ran then I would have ask, how long ago was that?

What took you so long? This thread has been up for 5 days now.

Joey, just post a video on youtube of the bike idling on choke, & what steps you took.
But don't post a link, or you'll get banned.

    simple,

    1-turn fuel on.
    2-open choke.
    3-start bike.
4-try to give it throttle, bike dies, i call it some expletive.
    5-repeat steps 2 and 3.
6-close choke, bike dies, i call it some other expletive.
repeat till i park it back in the corner and swear i'm going to sell it....

Sounds fine to me. That's the way mine is tuned right now.

    YAM#849 y'all watch this...

I'd have to agree with Eboz (did I really say that?). Did you verify you can see daylight through the pilot jets? A good spraying with carb cleaner does not mean it's clean.

Before any of you pimps get on here, that last statement was meant in reference to GSXR's, not ho's.....:D

My 92 gsxr had the same problem and it was idle jets. Uncloged them and ran perfect again.
