They do help some but they get really nasty sticky after some time in the sun. I won't use em again, rather find gloves with gel in the palms or something else.
I haven't purchased grips for the dirt scooter in a while, but I was a big fan of the Renthal 1/2 waffle mediums. I ran GNCC and NHS for several years and they were the only grips that did not leave me with sore paws. I did run a set of the new (er the bike has been in pieces for 3 years...) dual compound renthals and they seemed pretty good. I tried several of the soft grip types, gel or otherwise, from Oury and Pro Grip, but I swear I could feel the bars hammering my hands 2 hours into a 3 hour event.
I really like the Spider grips - http://www.pit-bull.com/Merchant2/m...GY&Store_Code=PBMSA&Category_Code=spidergrips
