Good deal at Putnam 8/3/08

Curve Chasers is riding Putnam Park 8/3/08 $135 early registration by 7/18/08.
I'll be there #99 in intermediate 2. anyone else going?

 

I will be there haven't been since last year. I will be in Advanced #200 yellow and blue. I know a couple of expert racers that are going to meet me down there really nice guys should be a good time.

 

I'll be there as well, Intermediate 2 on a blue R6, green EZ Up, and a blue Tacoma.

 

I'll be there. I am looking to finally get in the 14's. I am hoping for some good weather.

 

we will be there with a couple people. I really want into the 15's!

Would like to buy if not rent for the 3rd. I'm bringing the sv but it's got a corbin on it.

14's?..holy crap....my best is 1:24....but I only do a track day once a year. I'm splurging this year....I'll be there on the 3rd. It'll be my second track day of the year.

 

Can Curvechasers/Indysuperbikes change tires?

 

I know that Indysuperbikes wont have there tire changer there. I think that Alan does not have one either. Last may the dunlop guy was there but I think he will be changing tires at Mid-O on sunday.

 

Yeah, I have got a 1:15.02, 1:15.03, 15:05 and a 1:15.07. Of course a lot of 1:15.1's and slower. These are all trackday laptimes. If I could just go a bit faster.....

1:24's is respectable expecially only running 1-2 trackdays a year.

Last time I was there I was running around a 1:24 with bad breaks. I'm hoping for a 1:20 in Intermediate 2.

Talked to Tom today, he said it was about a 40% chance he would make it but he would not be in the truck.








If you will be around saturday, Morgan County Motorsports will be open and does change tires. They are In Martinsville which is about 45 min from the track.

How did everyone do.

I ran consistant 1:24's, and I ended up having some traction issues that shot my confidence and I ended up running in the 1:26's for half the day.

I was in Int2 on the silver R1 number 77

Dam, 14's! I wish. I was running 18's most of the day. Almost broke into the 17's. Maybe next time. Still a great day though.

 

I got my fastest lap time of 1:16 I really wanted to get a 1:15 but didnt get there it was great running with stymie, wroble and hancock.
