What fuel/oil combos work best?

(looking at purchasing 2 stroke 1/5 scale RC car)

 

AGIP and 747. It can give a impotent smoe a world class boner!

 

VP C12 and Motul 8002T premix has served me well for 5 years now....smells good too.

C12 and Moibil MX2T in my (former) KX310

 

which model 1/5th scale???

 

Which engine, Zenoah gp230 or CY23 or CY26, and most importantly what compression ratio in the engine?

 

Probably the HPI Baja 5b SS, only hear good things about them, I'd like to do a Stadium truck conversion just to be different.

Will be running the stocker SS engine until I grenade it or I get tired of the performance, then I'll look at after market engines.

Book says premium pump and 25:1 mix

Looks like you have tried a few pipes you seen any performance increase from any of them? My buddy takes delivery of his SS tomorrow, I got to drive his RTR this weekend, the diff was locked in posi so it was a handful, but we had a blast!

 

The Baja RTR comes with a CY23 and the new SS kit comes with a CY26. Run premium gas with Klotz Technoplate oil @25:1. DDM makes headkits that have domes that go from 13:1 up to 19:1. At that point look for some higher octane race fuel.

 

How much does one of those go for?
