I've been sick all week so it's been the week of bad flicks - yesterdays contributions was the Chronicles of Riddick starring Vin Diesel I did follow it with Raising Arizona for the palate cleansing effect of a good movie Freejack is slated for tonight.
The SciFi Channel has found that there's actually a big market for "b" movies, and has been producing and airing their own exclusive ones for the last 6 months or so. Laura often refers to it as "Sea monster Saturday" (if there's nothing on, I'll often flip on SciFi) ... some of them are really not bad or they're REALLY bad, and you end up getting sucked in just to see what happens next. - Roach
...and now a random fact about Vin Diesel: If he heard Mongo say this he would beat him to a bloody pulp till he gave in and loved every movie that Vin Diesel either starred, co-starred, was an extra, or even watched. Read more about random facts about Vin here.
I was pretty surprised and liked it too. Glad I didn't pay theater prices but it was fun for an afternoon HBO thing. Movies I don't like I won't bother finishing, I'll go reread a book instead or take a nap.
I actually liked the TRIANGLE series they did. It was a pleasant surprise but the ending did let me down,
Given the reviews I read on Triangle...and that I was at home with the flu that week. I too was very surprised. Not the best movie. But certainly not a Rob Zombie classic. If I didn't have 3 tivos running I'd be insane by now. (Flu followed by an annoying cold.)
