Will Crutchlow have the pace?

He always said he had it on the Honda. I wonder if he will have it on the Yamaha.

I imagine he will be like Rossi was the last 5 or so years. I predict he is slower than Morbidelli. But when interviewed he will have the pace to win. Lolol

 

He will add to his career statistics - in crash count.

 

The most interesting thing will be the bike he is riding and the differences it has compared to the current bike

 

My biggest regret is never starting a Cal Crutchlow Crash Count thread.

As for the wildcard, he's not gonna do a Bayliss.

 

I seem to remember Cal once making the comment that he wouldn't be out there if he didn't think he could win.

My recollection is it was pre. Pretty sure it was while Marcy Marq was still owning the field.

 

I have heard that from a lot of racers over the years, many of whom did not win anything. But that belief is one of the things that set them apart from the rest of us, I think. I don't think that too many people get to that level without believing that no one else could beat them if the playing field was level.

Of course, most of them are wrong, since there is almost always someone who is the best.
