Chris was a much better soloist, especially acoustic, than lead man. He was a better vocalist than the others.

Outside of Rusty Cage and Black Hole Sun, Cornell is unlistenable to me, but everyone is different. Soundgarden is, obviously, the band from that era I can least stomach.

I can’t disagree much, as I have the tendency to skip a lot of his bands’ music, on Pandora. However, the dude had solo albums that are worth listening to.

It always sucked and made NOTHING get wet.

I’ll give at least Headbangers Ball some credit; I saw the video for Jesus Christ Pose and went out to get Badmotorfinger the next day. Never heard of them before that. Pearl Jam on the other hand I’ll never forgive for helping to kill thrash metal. Fuck Jeremy.

 

Jesus, I remember when Riki Rachtman hosted that, what a douche canoe that guy was. There’s a local radio DJ here that reminds me of him with as hard as he tries to be “edgy” and ends up being a total doorknob.

It was nice hearing the HBB intro music from S.O.D. though.
