Glad you guys mentioned this show. I’m not into politics so I would have never watched this, but I’m really enjoying it.
I think that's why it works so well......it certainly is much less about the politics and very much about the comedy. I could never stomach any of the "dramatic" political shows like West Wing etc.
Tried to watch the new season of Peaky Blinders and just couldn't get into it. As we were watching some recap videos on the youtubes, it remonded me that I got a little tired of it near the end of the last season. Oh well, on to find another series. We finished "Stay Close" last night. Good series; same producers (and a few of the same actors) as "The Stranger."
Just wrapped up watching "Inventng Anna". Base on true story of broke girl who worked her way into the hob-knobs of NYC and got close to getting over $20million loan to open a club art gallery!
Two Weeks It’s dubbed, so if that bothers you, skip it. 2 episodes in (total of 6) and it’s good. Kind of a dark thriller/mystery/who done it.
I’m only halfway through but The Bear is really fucking good so far. It’s an FX show but they put the whole season out on Hulu a couple days ago. Definitely worth a half hour to check out an episode.
Couple docs on Netflix that might send some shivers down your spine: Our Father Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey
Hint : it's not his anus. It's a tighter orifice. https://www.dexerto.com/tv-movies/t...ite-and-his-horrific-scene-explained-1840934/
Watched the new Bill Burr special last night, very disappointed . Didn't think he or any of the others were very funny. 2 thumbs down.
Not his best stuff, but he did very little in that shw other than presenting the various acts. But Jimmy Carr was awesome, as always.
