When I was on the Kitty Hawk (CV-63) we were in Norfolk tied up on one side of the pier, and the Mighty MO was tied up on the other side. Aboard the two vessels was more firepower than has ever been used in anger in the history of the planet.

This was before cell phone cameras, but I regret not getting a Polaroid of it.

Had an uncle put an El Camino bed on the back of a 70s Cadillac Fleetwood. It looked like total ass even if he'd done a great job on body and paintwork but as I'd seen him pick up a bare iron block off the ground and put it on his workbench I kept my opinion to myself. It was a common sight at the flea markets and strip clubs on the OBT in Orlando.
