When I was on the Kitty Hawk (CV-63) we were in Norfolk tied up on one side of the pier, and the Mighty MO was tied up on the other side. Aboard the two vessels was more firepower than has ever been used in anger in the history of the planet. This was before cell phone cameras, but I regret not getting a Polaroid of it.
