Thanks for that. I don't know much about the market (obviously), but after the meme fiasco last year, I'm definitely convinced that it is rigged. I'm pretty much done even with my market gambling... its just not fun anymore. I'll probably just stick with index funds.

 

Yeah, if you could keep your bad juju away from index funds I'd greatly appreciate it.

Have you heard about the Ark anti-ETF? I should start one too.

 

so is the market (dow, s&p) heading for a major correction like early 2020 when it dropped by 1/3 (but did recover in 10 months or so) ... or is this just a "lil dip" ? will we see a positive year, or do ya think the market will be negative a year from now?

It won’t be a flash crash like 2020.

Predict a slow steady decline as they blame something new every few weeks for the weaker market.

Also I predict no interest rate rise in March.

 

very curious about "crowd funding" real estate funds.. many advertise on face tubes, talked with a few of them. Some have low initial investment required, some claim to pay a bit more than others but 8% is about what most say is a "target" return that pays each quarter. Some have 2-5 year lock in period required, one i talked to today has no lock in period. This "crowd funding" ability to invest in real estate started around 2012 or so.. most is multi family, some include retail shops and self storage facilities. But seems like nice way to diversify your funds into real estate, without having to actually own and manage ...

I was finally up a few hundos on RIVN and then just checked, back to red. I think I would have more fun just burning the dollars
