Met her in June at Nelson last year. Just a chatty little ball of energy that a 13 year old girl should be.

Me too! I love being able to point out these kids to casual fans and let them know they kicked my ass.

 

Very nice family and young lady. I met her at Barber, she passed me and 4 others on a corner. She can ride, hope her fun continues and many win's that go along with it. I'm also a fan, it's nice to see them before they are famous.

 

Great news & I wonder how much different the paddock will be overseas for her.

 

Got to see her rip a couple years ago and been keeping an eye out. Really hope to see her go far.

 

It says she’ll race MA once she is age eligible.

 

best of luck to her. I do worry a bit, have seen several go this route then not be able to sustain it and then drop off the radar. Others simply grow up and have to get on about the business of earning a living.

Look at Elena Myers. She’s not racing anymore and is a Mom. Kinda similar with Melissa Paris too.

I know in my own experience as a parent I’m almost enjoying watching my son ride and race more than my own track time anymore. It’s kinda cool and a little bittersweet too.
