Because of all the trauma to my spine and the duration of the surgery (almost 10hrs). My body is going into shock and my cortisol levels are out of whack. They had to put me me back on an IV with a bunch of different medicines. The dude down the hall better consider himself lucky. I’ll be back, fucker.
So, how long will it be before you find out if your junk still works? That's a common problem with spine injuries I hear.
Easy on the recovery there Izzy Mandelbaum. You only get one shot at it, and if you Marquez yourself you'll wind up more fucked than you started.
This is what happens when you reach for the clock. Remember we mentioned discipline earlier in the thread. Let your body do some healing.
Like everyone else said....chill out. Try not to think of all the crooked drill pipe, dirty tools and white wheels on the drill rig while your gone.
My body is going into some kind of delayed shock from the spine trauma and almost 10hrs of surgery. I just had to do another X-ray, CT Scan, and MRI. I don’t know what they are looking for or they aren’t telling me. I don’t see the sense in doing all that now. But I guess we’ll see. My cortisol levels are all over the place and they had to put me back on an IV with steroids. I dunno what is going on.
Listen close, ask for layman's terms, ask your personal doctor be consulted. As with SpeedyE, you need an advocate - your wife? Friend? Another doctor or a nurse?
