I think Rossi may win a race this year, but he'll be no better than top 6 most of the year. His stamina will be tested, it's a pretty grueling schedule.

On the plus side, it's going to be awesome to watch a race almost every weekend

 

Rossi to truly show his age this year, won't podium unless the field is taken out by fellow geriatric Crutchlow.

 

So he's got a pretty good chance then!

 

I'd really like to see Rossi take the checkers at least once more before he hangs it up. I'm being realistic about that though..... I do think Fabio will get at least one this year though. I hope he does, I like the kid.

 

Yeah I’m a big Rossi fan but my expectations for him are over at this point. It won’t surprise me to see him running in 5-8th this year. Not because of age but because of drive. It’s been waning a little over the last couple years, but the double hit of a demotion to Perronas for next year and then sitting around not racing will likely lead to less enthusiasm than we’ve seen in the past. I hope I’m wrong though.

I am actually out in the field all this week and will have limited connectivity. If you and jk can start testing, that's great, but we still have plenty of time. I think with you now in the mix, we are up to 24 players, but I need to double check.

I have a completely baseless gut feeling that Marquez/Honda will fuck up something royally and open the door for QBall to take it all. Hubris is going to be Marc’s downfall this year. It’s probably just naive hope and wishful thinking. Possibly the goat curry I ate for lunch.

I’ll even go way out on a limb. I’ll bet $50 to the AFF that Fabio is champion this year.

These are going to be balls to the wall sprint races with the short season. Miller & Mir might go for broke with their styles and shock a few people this year.
