My closest neighbor is a half acre over in any direction and that's still almost too close together.

Detroit PD is about to start cracking down this weekend on large groups in parks etc. This weekend .

Our city folk aren't smart enough to understand what the word Pandemic means.

A good portion of that city can't even read.

Search the web for California busting a paddle-boarder alone on the ocean.

Huh? Yea, let's just add another 20-30 ICU beds, shouldn't cost more than 30/40 million or so, seeing as how you'd have to build a whole new building. Maybe one of them could build over the cemetery next door since the three local hospitals don't really have any room to expand facilities?

Is everyone in Nebraska supposed to self-immolate because people in NYC choose to live somewhere they can’t stretch their arms without picking the nose of the person next to them?

If in the best of times you’re at capacity, you don’t have enough capacity.

    It isn’t rocket surgery.

He's right. You don't get to blame the rest of the country for your states inability to run itself well. Perhaps if they'd spent less time preaching and trying to change how the rest of the country is run and focus inward a bit more then they wouldn't be in this position.

You mean just in time delivery doesn't work for the medical industry either? Who knew.

    Technically he is right.

However that will not solve this pandemic.

The virus is in all states now.

Yes, even the ones where your neighbors are a mile down the road.

Don’t be pissy when JIT translates to first come, first served, and you waited too long to get infected. ;)

Just to be clear, you expanded the facility but reduced the number of beds?

It's right behind my house sport. I'm still not gonna panic. Oddly a couple on a cruise in their 70's. Neither are dead and are back out walking as of yesterday. I'll be sure to remind them they aren't towing the story line.

2 people on the boat left it very much less alive than when they boarded. I've already accepted that everyone will get it eventually. I'll deal with it when it's my turn.

States are big. We (NC) have counties with one case and some with none at all.

I would say not at all.

What I would say it’s more about the media’s and certain “leaders” portraying it as a monumental calamity that doesn’t correlate with what some are seeing first hand.
