Towels are the worst. I hate staying the night and then while drying off it’s a towel that was put away damp and now the microbes are a funk. That’s a deal breaker.
when i find stuff that has been put away not 100% dry i make sure to remind the wife thoroughly of it. but it hasn't happened in a long time, so my reminders worked. cleaning the washer every now and then and overusing the dryer does the trick.
I have the same problem with blankets and towels stored in hallway closets. Same between two houses. I dry the crap out of stuff, use scented fabric softener sheets. Never a problem with clothes, or towels in the bathrooms. Leave the hall closet door open and they stay nice smelling. Weird.
Do you check the washer and dryer for raccoons and such before using? They'll upchuck during the spin cycle purt' near every time. And they will tinkle in the dryer.
Try these I love them. https://www.amazon.com/slp/laundry-fragrance-booster/mrsbro5t9tpe5a6 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well since we figured that out, I bought some new wranglers and right out of the package they smelled weird, like old people/ moth ball smell. Washed them multiple times and they still smell like shit. I can literally smell them while wearing them, so now i gotta tell people around me it aint me it's these goddamn brand new jeans. Whats my move?
One answer which you already have is to make sure that 100% of your clothes are 100% dry before they are put away. The other obvious answer is that since your mom does not have this issue, have her do your laundry, too. Isn't that her job?
Nothing shameful in knowing how to take care of yourself. I'm a damn good cook too. I don't do windows.
So first thing, why the fuck do your posts read like you're an asian immigrant? Secondly, if you're putting clothes away when they're not fully dry, and can't understand why they start to stink, I'm not sure anything anyone posts is going to help you.
